A visit to the upcoming Mon toit, mon Cartier site

Posted in: News.

A couple months back we took a visit to one of our upcoming project sites to take some photos of the building before construction begins.

The Mon toit, mon Cartier project aims to improve the quality of life in the central sector of Cartierville by providing affordable housing, supporting vulnerable people, and offering a community meeting space for residents. The initiative is part of the Laurentien/Grenet Integrated Urban Revitalization (IUR) project.

We provided $82,000 to have a green roof top installed with the Mon toit, mon Cartier building, to allow residents of the building access to green space and the ability to grow food on the roof.

The building’s construction should begin in early 2014 and take a half year to complete. We will stop in from time to time to take some more photos.
