Street worker program relaunched in NDG

Posted on October 17, 2013
Posted in: News.

In 2011 Government cuts temporarily shut the doors to the street worker program from Montreal charity Heads & Hands. Recently, October 7th, the program is back on its feet and out in the streets of NDG helping to educate and offer HIV and Hepatitis C prevention materials, as well as being available as an intervention and support team!

After the cuts H&H had to find alternate funding to be able to continue this amazing program and we here at the Silver Dollar Foundation, among others, proudly contributed to the re-opening.

Visit the Head & Hands website too see all of their great work!
